Our Cattle
Stud Gelbvieh
An obvious choice
We aim to breed and register Gelbvieh females as the backbone of our herd.
The early maturing, fertile, maternal traits along with docility, longevity and ease of
calving make the Gelbvieh female genetics enviable.

Balancer
Next level hybrid vigour
Our first drop of Balancer calves hit the ground in September 2024. All unassisted births. Vibrant, healthy calves, up and away quickly. These were AI calves - Sire Jillango Get Up and Go G77
Our decision to use Red Angus over our heifers for shorter gestation and low birth weight has paid off. The heifers have bounced back and are now in calf to our 2024 bull purchase from Raedean Reds, The Chateau T16. A registered Stud Red Angus bull who has already proven his ability and style.
See our For Sale page for Heifers PTIC and with calves at foot.

At the heart of our farming practices is our respect for our animals, their health and wellbeing.
Lara Park has two breeding programs.

Our Breeding Program
Why we Chose our Bulls
Gelbvieh Stud Program
STUD: A.I. SIRE
Weetalabah Perfect Combination P225
- Homozygous Polled
- Super quiet
- Proven low birth weight calves
- Solid coloured and smooth coated
- Semen available domestically
- Produce females that milk
- With our A.I. program we can introduce top notch genetics with a controlled calving period producing an even group of calves.
- We can genetically improve our herd without the need to purchase and keep highly priced Sires.
- Preg testing early in the season helps us manage our herd and feed budget
- We can prepare for calving season efficiently by bringing cows that are about to calve close to the yards
